Hello everyone,
As we previously did with our Death Guard army, today we’re taking a look at the Space Marines Combat Patrol, painted in the colors of the Imperial Harbingers. These two Combat Patrols will be part of a battle report that we’ll be producing very soon, once we’ve finished organizing everything. The table is ready and fully painted, now all that’s left is to get started.
We’ll begin with the characters, the Captain in Terminator armor and the Librarian in Terminator armor from the Combat Patrol. Although the iconography of the Imperial Harbingers differs from that of the Space Marines Codex, we chose to paint the Librarian in blue to create a strong contrast with the rest of the army and to emphasize his psychic role. We’ll go into greater detail about the chapter’s history and iconography in a future Index Astartes article dedicated to it.
To accompany these characters, here is our first Terminator squad from the Indomitus box. In the long run, the army will include three Terminator units: one shooting-oriented unit and two units dedicated to close combat, in order to provide true versatility on the battlefield.
Finally, five Infernus Marines, intended to be transported later in one of our Impulsors.
We’re happy to have two Combat Patrols completed. We’re now working on writing up the battle report, and other Imperial Harbingers units will be appearing on the blog in the meantime.
