StarCraft TMG: Releases Are Picking Up Speed!

Hello everyone,

We are now unofficially getting confirmation that we have indeed been left out of the release loop. The announcement this Monday that Wave 3 was up for pre-order caught all of us by surprise and left us scrambling to catch up. Unlike Wave 2, for which we received the miniatures ahead of release so that we could prepare a review, we have received no information whatsoever about this new wave. It seems that, for now, we are back to being regular players.

We took part in the beta for this wave and, just as with Wave 2, received a discount voucher as a thank-you for our participation. Once again, there had been no communication about it. While the Wave 2 discount voucher had been sent to us before pre-orders opened, the voucher for this new wave arrived unexpectedly this morning!

Archon Studio has probably had to speed up its schedule to catch up on delays and meet its planned deadlines. Nevertheless, this announcement came as a surprise to many, especially since we are still in the process of receiving our Wave 2 miniatures.

Of course, we are not giving up on the game! However, without the studio’s support, it will be difficult for us to keep up with the news at this pace and publish content as close to release dates as we managed to do for Wave 2. We will continue to do the best we can with the resources available to us.

In any case, this third wave looks fantastic, with some really beautiful miniatures that we can’t wait to get our hands on. We are also looking forward to learning more about the future of the game and seeing the finalized rules.
