Hello everyone,
The Inquisition would historically be nothing without its henchmen!
When we were excited by the release of the two Codexes, Witch Hunters and Daemonhunters, back in 2003, we bought quite a few of the miniatures from that era. And ultimately, they have lost none of their charm over the years.
Unfortunately, many of them were damaged, especially the skull probes, whose metal rods rarely survived the various house moves, but some of the sturdier ones have finally earned their chance to be painted.
As you can see, this is a nice mix of different miniatures, since each of the two Codexes originally had its own range of models. Here we have a Cherub, an Autosavant, a Mystic, a Lexmechanic and two Interrogators, all painted by Sigur.
It is therefore a real pleasure to finally see these miniatures completed after so many years of waiting for their moment in the spotlight. This is clearly part of our goal of finally getting through the huge number of miniatures we have accumulated over the years.
In the end, the hardest part may not be painting all this backlog… but resisting the temptation of all the new miniatures that keep coming out!
