Today we continue our series of articles highlighting iconic characters from Blackstone Fortress, starting with its main protagonist: the Rogue Trader Janus Draik.
The release of the Rogue Traders marked a real turning point for this faction. Originally focused mainly on the Inquisition, the range gradually expanded and paved the way for many new units and sub-factions: Imperial Navy Breachers, Assassins, specialized squads, and other Imperial agents drawn from every corner of the Imperium.
Over time, this evolution shaped what players now know as Imperial Agents, an unusual faction capable of bringing together highly diverse forces under a single banner in service to the Emperor.
Janus Draik perfectly embodies the adventurous and opportunistic spirit of the Rogue Traders: explorer, negotiator, and warrior, he travels across the galaxy in search of forgotten relics, forbidden technologies, and immeasurable fortunes. His flamboyant charisma and eclectic crew make him one of the most memorable figures in Blackstone Fortress.
We also own several other Rogue Traders, but they have not yet been painted, much like many other miniatures still waiting for their turn on the hobby desk.
