Hello everyone,
We’re back with our Orruk army to introduce Zarbog Frostsmash, our formidable Weirdnob Shaman.
Once again, KeopsyMiniature has brilliantly highlighted the miniature by playing with a striking warm/cold contrast, a bold choice that perfectly emphasizes the character’s mystical aura.
Zarbog Frostsmash clearly stands out from the rest of the army, thanks to his staff adorned with unusual colors for this project: shades of yellow and orange that contrast sharply with the blues and greens of the other troops. This artistic choice gives the shaman a unique, almost supernatural presence, reinforcing his role as the twisted summoner of the Frostbones.
A piece that immediately draws the eye and adds real personality to the army!
On the frozen lands of Andtor marches the Waaagh! of the Frozen Bones led by Urkuk Skull-Smasha. Amidst this roaring horde strides Zarbog Frostsmash, a Weirdnob as icy as he is dangerous.
No one knows exactly where he came from. Some say he fell into a cursed glacier; others claim he survived after chewing on an ice-bound Troggoth. Since then, he carries an unnatural chill around him and speaks to the blizzard as if it were an old friend.
His staff, the Frost-Shard, is a fragment of cursed ice encased in a cracked skull. Sparks of magical fire escape from it, as if the artifact itself is trying to break free or explode. This incandescent contrast, trapped within the frost, reminds everyone just how unstable Zarbog is… and why it’s best to keep a safe distance.
Guided by frozen visions and explosive, unpredictable magic, Zarbog accompanies Krog Dar’Fang in the quest for the legendary Frostskull. When Krog beats his drum, Zarbog screams at the storm, and together they unleash a fury that makes the snow itself tremble. Wherever Zarbog raises his staff, the ice cracks, magic roars… and the Waaagh! charges forward, driven by a cold that promises even more smashing.
This concludes the first batch of Orruk-painted miniatures. More are already in the works, and you’ll be able to see them appear very soon in our Sunday update.
