Hello everyone,
Today, in this short article, we’re introducing the first troop reinforcements for our Imperial Harbingers Space Marines army.
The initial squad of 5 Intercessors is now reinforced by 5 new battle-brothers, bringing the unit up to a full complement of 10 combat-ready Space Marines. Later this week, we’ll also be publishing a dedicated painting tutorial for the Imperial Harbingers, based on one of these new Intercessors. In the meantime, here are the five new arrivals!
To accompany these Intercessors, a new squad of five Assault Intercessors has been added to the force. We want to maintain the idea of an army focused on rapid strike power, capable of hitting fast and hard. With that in mind, we’re planning to field several MSU (Multiple Small Units) embarked in Impulsors (which we don’t yet have in our collection), allowing us to deploy them quickly onto objectives or straight into the heart of battle. What we particularly like about this unit is that Sigur added a nice nod to the old-school plasma weapon painting style, featuring a yellow-orange gradient on the barrel. This small detail brings a welcome touch of color to an otherwise subdued army, while paying homage to the classic Space Marine aesthetic that many of us remember from our early days in the hobby.
