Ironjawz Project : Megaboss

Hello everyone,

Here’s a new project launched under the banner of Destruction! This will be our article for Orktober. Our goal was to build a winter-themed table, and for that, we needed two armies. Our Orruks, who had been gathering dust in storage boxes, were just waiting for their moment. At the time, the Spearhead box hadn’t been released yet. Now that it’s finally available, we’ve decided it will represent one of the forces roaming the barren continent of Ghur, deep in the frozen wilds of Andtor.

We haven’t yet chosen who their enemies will be, but they’ll also be in a snowy setting to match the theme. The Spearhead includes 1x Megaboss, 3x Brute Ragerz, 5x Brutes, and 10x Ardboyz. The painting was done by Yavan Tavares from KeopsyMiniature, while we took care of the assembly.

So here is Urkuk Skull-Smasha, the imposing leader of this Spearhead, ready to crush his foes in the frozen wastes of Andtor!

In the frozen lands of Andtor, where even the fiercest beasts hesitate to tread, a savage howl tears through the blizzard. Urkuk Skull-Smasha, Megaboss of the Frostbones, marches to war.

No one truly knows where he came from. Some say he fought a Maw-krusha and stole its skull. Others claim he was born inside a cursed glacier, forged in hatred, snow, and pure unfiltered bashin’. One thing is certain, wherever he goes, the ice cracks… and so do skulls.

Around him, his Brute Ragerz fight with a chilling fury, howling at the sky like rabid wolves. The Ardboyz, marching in rough but solid lines, stomp the frozen ground with thunderous steps, making the frost-covered peaks tremble. Together, they’re hunting for the legendary Frostskull a massive relic said by shamans to be the skull of a forgotten god.
Rumor has it, whoever lays a hand on it becomes its master… or the next frozen corpse.

Urkuk just sees it as a great way to attract more fights. More fights mean more enemies. More enemies mean more fun. It’s simple math, in his own way. But winter isn’t their only enemy.
Something ancient moves within the storm… and it doesn’t fight like an Orruk.

So here’s a little taste of what’s to come in this new article series! We’re working on a bunch of content around this army, including video painting tutorials.

See you very soon for the next installment!
