We are excited to present our very first army project for Warhammer 40,000, focused on the iconic Death Guard. Originally designed to represent the main antagonists of our global campaign (currently on hold), this army still remains at the heart of our ambitions.
As we gradually launch this blog, we decided to start modestly with the Boarding Actions supplement, which provides an excellent introductory format. For this, we chose the Arch-Contaminators detachment, built around an elite force of 500 points. This foundation will evolve over time, with the ultimate goal of building a full Apocalypse army that lives up to our vision.
On the lore side, we decided to build our army around the Apostles of Contagion, a warband from the 4th Plague Grand Company. Inspired by our reading of the Siege of Vraks books, we wanted to give this faction a strong identity and embed it within a rich narrative for our campaign. Although the campaign is currently on hold, we will share all the work done through dedicated articles.
This project is a collaboration between two people :
- Mosko handles assembly, conversions, and force construction.
- Sigur, on the other hand, is responsible for painting and artistic direction.
This is a large-scale project that will require time, commitment… but above all, a lot of passion. Sigur has already been working tirelessly to define a strong visual identity, drawing inspiration from the color schemes found in Games Workshop’s official publications, while adding a personal touch.
