Hello all,
In order to quench our thirst for gaming and building collections, we have amassed a huge number of miniatures over time. Although many of them are still tucked up safe and warm in their boxes, fortunately we also have some that are painted. Talented people have worked with us and the “Gallery” articles are a great opportunity to introduce them to you. We wanted to show you these figurines through photos that really do them justice, so that the close-ups give you a chance to fully appreciate the work of these artists. You might even be inspired by their choice of colours when it comes to your own miniatures.
You won’t be surprised to hear that this article focuses on Gorechosen. We tested the game in another article, but that didn’t really show off the miniatures. Also, in our fight to the death, we only chose three of the heroes although we have five in all. We are not going to write dozens of articles about games of Gorechosen, so this “Gallery” is the perfect way to show you these muscled beasts in detail.
These five miniatures have been put together, transformed and painted by Marko Miladinovic from Craftworld Studio. Although he normally works in tandem, this time he allowed himself a solo interlude for the five models. And the results are impressive to say the least – because although all these figurines are part of the same faction, each has its own personality and colours. And yet, when placed side by side, they remain a homogenous group. We really like what he’s done; the cleverly-placed luminous spots give the miniatures a real spark. The NMM and the use of extra colours to create light and shade work really well and are Craftworld Studio’s own. They make each figurine unique and you could compare them to a work on canvas, given how varied the palette of colours is and how delicately they are applied.
All that’s left to do is enjoy the end result, and we hope to soon be able to offer you exclusive tutorials in collaboration with Craftworld Studio.
